Jarrad Hayes grew up on the NSW Central Coast playing golf at his local, Toukley Golf Club. Jarrad proved to be a very talented golfer, winning the B grade championships at age 11. Jarrad attracted much attention with this talent, with Elevation Foundation coming on board as a supporter at age 14, sponsoring Jarrad to further his golfing career. Jarrad has taken advantage of this support, using this sponsorship to travel internationally to the United States and Thailand. He did his PGA Traineeship at Shelley Beach Golf Club and has now graduated to become a golf professional working out of Gosford Golf Club. Jarrad’s latest endeavour was a trip across to the Asian Tour School in 2016 to qualify for his tour card. Jarrad continues his gold journey as a great role model to other Indigenous golfers.
